Online Divorce Lawyer: Is Florida 2 Hour Divorce Trustworthy?

Question by Theda: Is Florida 2 Hour Divorce Trustworthy?
I know everyone will say. “get a lawyer”, but I really don’t have the money. I’m only making less than $ 100 a week from retail hell. It states that it’ll do the paper work, but I’m not a 100% certain. Me and my husband has no children and we’re trying to find the cheapest way to do this without killing our budget. Or is there any other online service that will help me with the paper work?

Online Divorce Lawyer: Step Four

Online Divorce Lawyer has many years of experience in recognising the concerns and needs of separated partners. We understand they are afraid for their future because they don’t know the process involved, they are concerned about how long the process will take, and they are worried about the legal costs. We are passionate about ensuring that firstly they become aware of the process involved in a property settlement, secondly we finalise that process in a short time frame because we act for both parties, and thirdly we negotiate a fixed cost so there is certainty about legal fees. Advice is also available for partners entering into (or during) a relationship so they can protect the assets they brought into the relationship in the event of a separation in the future. Such agreements mean a saving of time, stress and legal fees in the event of a separation in the future.

i think you two can file your own paperwork at the courthouse and not have to have a lawyer, only a judge to sign it, and i think in some states there is a 90 day waiting period before it is final, but i think it varies by state, but they will answer your questions..and i think it will cost you to file, and court cost, so you might want to check on that too..if anything, just hire one lawyer to handle it for the both of you, and as long as it is agreeable and signed between the two of you, and doesn’t have to research your individual case, then it might be a lot cheaper that way too.

You can go to the court house and get the paperwork and file there. There will be a charge but it should not be too steep in the scheme of things. As each state has different fee schedules and rules, it would be hard to say how much you would be looking at. But if you do it yourself it should be far cheaper than using a service or an attorney.

That being said, you might want to avoid online divorce papers as there is plenty of room for differences from state to state that their papers may not take into account. Not to mention if the laws for divorce change in one state then the papers may not be updated.

Despite your economic situation, it may be a blessing that you have few assets as these are things that are usually divided up during a divorce. The more assets involved, the more expense the divorce can be. Likewise, with no children the costs are tremendously decreased as well.

Now here’s a word of warning. Be careful when filing divorces on your own. Although you are not a licensed attorney you will be required to understand the rules and procedures of court and divorces for your state, as well as being bound by the language in the divorce. Often times, people do not understand the full implications of the legal language being used, nor do they understand what it could possibly mean when things are not included for their specific circumstances (such as “hold harmless” language). It may be to you and your husbands advantage to at least hire an attorney (for each of you) and have him or her review the final documents before signing to ensure that your interests are fully looked after. An attorney can not ethically review the documents for both of your interests as this would be a conflict of interest. You need to have your own attorney, and your husband would need to find his own for the review process. You may spend $ 200 to $ 300 for an hour review, but it may be well worth it in the long run to avoid running into any legal problems later down the road which could cost thousands to resolve.

    Hope that has been helpful.
